The current Wednesday night courses (Lindy 1 & 2) we’re running in Subiaco are the final 4 week courses that we’ll be running for the year.  However in a big send off to 2009 we’ll be finishing the year with three very exciting 3 week speciality courses!

Slow Dancing - Wednesday 9th - 23rd December
7.00pm - 8.15pm

When the tempos drop it’s time to cast aside your Charlestons, pack away your Swing Outs and bring out a series of moves guaranteed to make you look painfully awesome!  We’ll delve into the ever popular, smooth world of Slow Dancing and show you how to move with grace to those slower tempos.

WHERE:  Swing It! Subiaco - Subiaco Scout Hall, 399 Rokeby Road

COST:  $35 for a whole course, $15 drop in.

LEVEL:  This is a class open to all levels, you need not have done any slow dancing prior to this!

Lindy Hop Madness - Wednesday 9th - 23rd December
8.15pm - 9.15pm

Three classes, three exciting swing routines!  We’re going to be taking this chance to have some crazy fun with some great moves and enjoyable tricks.  Each class will have its own fun routine that you’ll be able to bust out on the social dancefloor for maximum effect!

Solo Jazz! - Wednesday 9th - 23rd December
9.15pm - 10.15pm

Solo Jazz is a great way to build your improvising skills for Lindy and also opens up a whole word of opportunities on the dance floor for solo dancing.  Swing It regularly teaches Solo Jazz classes but this time we’re offering a Solo Jazz course!  Each class will build on the one before giving you the chance to learn a host of exciting choreography to practice over the Christmas break.  The course will be taught by the ever excitable Lexi Rollins! (NOTE: Drop ins are welcome but the class will be progressive).
