We had a great time on Saturday at our Frankie Favourites workshop. It was quite the nostalgia trip for Ruth and me to go through the classic “Frankie” moves Frankie had taught us over the years. Not only that but I saw a few of them out on the floor on Sunday night! Best.
Over the last few months we’ve had so many of our students graduating to Level 2 and even some of them graduating to Level 3! I’d like to send out an immense congratulations to all of them. We’re proud of you!
The Maylands Street Festival was so much fun! The streets were PACKED with people enjoying everything the festival had to offer and the best part of it was we all got to Swing dance out in the open air to WAYJO. I really love it when people get to see Swing dancing performed to live...
Emily is Swing It's undisputed Queen of Solo Jazz. Emily's vibrancy when she dances and performs is off the charts and it's beyond obvious that she's a natural. We're extremely lucky to have Emily as a part of our team.
A very big thank you to everyone that came down to share a super fun, Shim Shammin' afternoon. The workshop was a great success and I had a blast teaching it.
The Swing It crew had a great time dancing it up all weekend at Hullabaloo. A very big thank you to the PSDS and everyone involved in running it!
Kathryn Kelly did a fantastic performance at our recent Stomp Off weekend. Check it out and be inspired!
We had a great time with the Shim Sham and we're about to do it all again!
