This is how we celebrate a birthday in the Swing scene!

Our wonderful friend Andry is leaving Perth and heading to Hong Kong to start a new life there with his wonderful new wife.  Andry has been a wonderful part of our Swing community and even found his lovely partner through Swing dancing.  When it was time to bid Andry farewell, we did it in style…

As you know, in addition to running Swing It, I’m an international dance teacher which means, like our Winter Workshop guests Remy & Moe, I get flown around the world to teach in different countries.

This current trip has taken me to Germany, the UK and now Canada.  Whilst in Canada, Remy, Moe, Egle and I all did a performance for the weekend event we were teaching at.

Everyone had a blast at our first Foundations of Authentic Jazz class with Emily.  It was great to see people of different levels with some great representation from our newer students!  Emily has another class coming up soon, we hope to see you all there.
