Review: 24th May

Charleston, charleston – made in Carolina! Except for when it’s made in the Royal Park Hall in West Perth.

Most of our Lindy 1s picked up charleston for the first time last night, and to quote the song, “Lord, how you can shuffle.” There was nothing finer. A special mention for Christine and Crystelle who took their first class as leads!

In Lindy 2 we explored what we should do if we happen to break away from our partner on the dance floor. To combat the tendency to krump enthusiastically, we gave you an arsenal of jazz steps that are fun to pull out when the need arises. Just watch out for Alex ‘Hot Hips’ Price – he’s dynamite on those Boogie Forwards.
